It is with great sadness that we share with you the news of Mike Hiltner's passing in October of 2020 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mike was truly a force of nature with an unmatched work ethic and tremendous passion for the outdoors. This passion, along with his creativity and drive, led him to develop many of the land management procedures that are now widely used in the restoration industry today. Mike dedicated his professional life to bettering our industry and his legacy will truly live on.

Mike's teachings, leadership and passion live on with each and every one us at NRS. His contribution and imprint on all of us will never be forgotten.
